Jalpaiguri, 16th April: Police hindered BJP MP Dr. Jayanta Kumar Roy, from traveling to his MP office in Jalpaiguri from his residence in Siliguri, on Wednesday.
The MP stated that the police did not allow him to travel due to the lockdown and that they were monitoring his residence 24 hours a day.
It is to recall, a few days ago, BJP MP John Barla of Alipurduar, who was on his way to distribute ration, was also stopped by the police on the way.
