Siliguri, 03rd November: Police raided various shops across the city on Wednesday and seized large amount of banned firecrackers.
According to police sources, green crackers have a special logo and bar code that will help to identify whether they are fake or not.
Police raided shops in Mahabirsthan and Bidhan Market and confiscated crackers worth lakhs. Two businessmen identified as Shashi Bhushan Sharma and Sanjeev Mahato were arrested by Bhaktinagar police for selling banned firecrackers.
