Siliguri, 04th July: Pradhan Nagar police arrested a youth with a stolen two-wheeler from the Masjid More area near State Guest House. The accused has been identified as Sheikh Rohit, a resident of Haiderpara.
According to police sources, on the night of July 02, Shubhadeep Saha, a resident of Ward No. 04, had come to Ward No. 45 Baghajatin Colony to attend a program. Later, when he came out to return home, he found that the vehicle was missing. He lodged a complaint at Pradhan Nagar police station on July 03.
Within 04 hours of the complaint, the undercover cops of Pradhan Nagar police station nabbed the accused Sheikh Rohit along with the stolen scooter. During interrogation, the police learned that Sheikh was intending to sell the scooty and had come to the Masjid More area near State Guest House. The accused was presented in the Siliguri court today. Police are probing the whole matter.
