Siliguri, 05th October: A wheat-laden truck overturned after it lost control near Siliguri’s Noukaghat More, today morning. The truck driver sustained minor injuries in the accident.
However, the event took a different turn after the NJP police reached the spot to take a stock of the situation. During the course, the police noticed the truck had two number plates, each of West Bengal and Jharkhand.
The NJP Police has arrested the truck driver Mofidul Mohammad and the truck owner Ranjit Paul for further questioning. Police have initiated an investigation of the whole matter.
