Police constable on Siliguri Mahakma Parishad election duty dies in Siliguri

Siliguri, 27th June: A police constable who had been posted for the Siliguri Mahakma Parishad election duty in Siliguri. The deceased has been identified as Buddhadeb Tudu a resident of Bankura. He had reached polling duty on Sunday and suddenly fell ill while having his meal. He was taken to Naxalbari Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
According to doctors, Tudu died of a heart attack. The body was sent to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem.
