Rajganj, 24th June: A pitch-laden truck overturned on the roadside near Radhabari along the Siliguri-Jalpaiguri National Highway, late Thursday night.
Reportedly, the truck was heading towards Bhubaneshwar from Jalpaiguri, after loading the pitch used for road construction, when an animal came in front of the truck. While trying to save the animal, the truck lost control and overturned on the side of the road. However, no casualties were reported in the accident. Upon receiving the news, the Fulbari Traffic Out Post reached the spot and is investigating the matter.
