Pistol recovered in ​​Phansidewa, investigation underway

Phansidewa, 24th February: A local pistol was recovered from the Demdakhari area of ​​Phansidewa. The incident caused widespread unrest in the area.


It has been learned that on Thursday, several locals went fishing in the pond and noticed a firearm. At first, they thought it to be a toy gun, but later they informed the Phansidewa police station. Police arrived at the scene shortly after and recovered the firearm.

Also in January, a gun was recovered from a farm in the Dhania More area of ​​Phansidewa. The distance from the scene where the firearms were recovered today to the Bangladesh border is about 500 meters. Police are investigating whether the cattle smugglers use this route or not.
