Siliguri, 09th July: After a photojournalist, Binod Das was attacked while collecting news in the Fuleswari area on Thursday, the city’s journalists demanded the arrest of Tarak Saha, the accused of the incident. The members of the Siliguri Journalists Club and all journalists met the police officials at the Siliguri police station demanding immediate arrest of the accused.
As per the information, photojournalist Binod Das went to collect news in the Fuleshwari area on Thursday, during which he allegedly got into an argument with a man named Tarak Saha. Amid this, some people attacked Das, severely injuring him.
Binod Das has lodged a complaint at the Siliguri Police Station after the incident. However, accused Tarak Saha has been absconding since the incident. Police officials assured to launch investigation and arrest the accused soon.
