Phansidewa, 06th September: The Phansidewa police, acting on a tip-off, launched operations at the National Highway near Jhamkalal Jote under Phansidewa police station on Sunday night and detained a pick-up van. Eleven cattle were rescued from the vehicle. Meanwhile, the driver managed to escape from the spot.
According to police sources, the cattle were being transported to Fulbari. Police have started an investigation into the whole incident.
