Phansidewa, 18th May: An incident of theft at Phansidewa Rural Hospital created a stir a few days prior. Reportedly, two pumps and a rod cutting machine were stolen from the premises.
Acting promptly, the police arrested two of the accused in connection to the incident on Saturday. Later the police arrested one more individual identified as Ishwar Das (34), of Matigara Medical More, in connection to the incident. A pump machine and a rod cutting machine were recovered from his possession. The accused was produced in the Siliguri sub-divisional Court today.
