Siliguri, 1st March: A peculiar goggle was recovered from Panchkolguri under Siliguri NJP station, which created a stir in the area.
According to sources, a group of people visited Babu Sharma’s house on Sunday morning, to survey a piece of land. After a while, the men dropped a packet at Babu’s house and left assuring to come back for it. Locals say that there were two foreign nationals among the group.
As Babu grew suspicious of the packet, he went through it. Inside he found a box and some papers with ‘East India’ written on them. When he read the paper, it was revealed that the goggles allowed the user to see through clothes worn by a person. The locals immediately informed the unusual news to the NJP police. However, the residents assume that it was a prank planned to fool them.
