Alipurduar, 22nd February: An incident of road mishap surfaced where ten passengers were injured on the Asian Highway (AH) in the Hasimara No. 10 area of Kalchini block in Alipurduar district.
As per reports, at around 12 p.m. on Thursday, a car on its way from Jaigaon to Falakata lost control and overturned on the road. Consequently, ten passengers of the car sustained severe injuries. After the incident, Hasimara police arrived at the spot, rescued the injured, and took them to Hasimara Air Force Hospital and Uttar Latabari Rural Hospital in Kalchini.
Meanwhile, the passengers with severe injuries were shifted to Alipurduar District Hospital. At present, the police are engaged in a detailed investigation of the entire incident.
