Rajganj, 31st May: Two individuals sustained injuries after a passenger bus and a motorbike collided on Wednesday near the Panikauri Toll Plaza, adjacent to Fatapukur, along the Siliguri-Jalpaiguri National Highway. According to reports, the bike, travelling from Siliguri towards Jalpaiguri, collided with the passenger bus that was approaching from behind, resulting in injuries to the bike riders.
Upon receiving the information, Rajganj police and locals promptly arrived at the scene. The injured individuals were immediately rushed to the Jalpaiguri Super Specialty Hospital for medical treatment. However, as of the time of reporting, the identities of the injured victims remain unknown.
Meanwhile, the Rajganj police seized both the bike and the passenger bus and initiated an investigation into the incident. Further details surrounding the collision are yet to be revealed.
