Kharibari, 04th July: The Panitanki police under Kharibari police station arrested two people with brown sugar and cough syrup. The arrested accused have been identified as Deepak Das and Ujjwal Mahato.
It has been learned that the police, based on a tip-off, raided Gaursing Jote in Panitanki on the Indo-Nepal border and recovered 60 grams of brown sugar and 50 bottles of cough syrup.
The arrested individuals were produced in Siliguri court today.
