Naxalbari, 13th August: Sensation prevailed following the discovery of a Pangolin in the Lalpul area of Naxalbari.
According to locals, the mammal was spotted while they were engaged in cultivating the land. Subsequently, the Forest Department was promptly informed. Upon receiving news, the Forest Department personnel arrived at the spot and rescued the animal. As per reports, the rescued pangolin would be released deep into the forest after a medical examination.
