Siliguri, 25th July: A paddy-laden truck overturned after reportedly losing control near the Noukaghat Traffic Point in Siliguri on Saturday morning, leaving the driver injured.
According to sources, the truck lost control as it reached the Noukaghat Traffic Point and overturned on the road. The driver sustained injuries in the accident.
On receiving the information, police from the Noukaghat Traffic Outpost and New Jalpaiguri Police Station reached the spot and launched rescue operations.
The injured driver was rescued and provided preliminary treatment. Police later recovered the accident-hit truck and have initiated an investigation into the incident.
