Siliguri, 22nd August: DYFI workers of Ward No. 24 staged a protest in front of Fuleswari underpass under Siliguri Municipal Corporation in support of the five-point demands, including repairment of damaged manhole
Addressing the media, Ward No. 24 CPIM Secretary Inderjit Chand said that the open and damaged manhole on the busy Fuleswari underpass is posing a serious threat to commuters on the stretch. Demanding the immediate repairment of this manhole, the CPIM Secretary stated that the DYFI are protesting in front of the underpass with placards. They warned of staging a larger demonstration if their demands are not met soon.
