Islampur, 10th March: During a roadshow at Panjipara in Uttar Dinajpur district on Wednesday, Trinamool candidate Golam Rabbani took a dig at the BJP ministers.
Rabbani accused PM Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Union Minister JP Nadda of only engaging in their daily commute to Kolkata rather than focusing on the farmers’ movement. Adding to this, Rabbani claimed that only TMC chief Mamata Banerjee can restore democracy in the state.
On being asked about the ones quitting his party and joining BJP, Rabbani said that only a handful of TMC members have exited from the party.
