Siliguri, 23rd October: In a head-on collision between a bus and a motorbike this morning, one person was seriously injured.
According to local sources, an NBSTC bus and bike collided head-on on Burdwan Road. Due to which the bike rider was seriously injured. After the incident, the motorist was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Locals alleged that the bus was coming from the wrong direction. The agitated mob also thrashed the bus driver. Later, a team of Siliguri police reached the spot and brought the situation under control.
