Siliguri, 02nd June: Road accidents are constantly increasing in the surrounding areas including Siliguri. On late Monday night, a biker was injured in a road accident on Eastern Bypass under Bhakti Nagar police station area.
Reportedly, a speeding truck coming from another route rammed into the motorbike. The locals hastily informed Bhakti Nagar Traffic Guard about the incident. As soon as the news of the incident was received, OC Dinesh Barman of Bhakti Nagar Traffic Guard and his entire team reached the spot.
The truck was seized and took the accident victim to Siliguri District Hospital. Police are probing the whole matter.
