Naxalbari, 17th October: A youth was apprehended with brown sugar in Naxalbari. The accused has been identified as Uttam Majumdar (25).
Reportedly, the said youth was arrested with 10 grams of brown sugar along with cash amounting to Rs 62,500 and a mobile phone from the accused in the Kumarsingh Jote area of Naxalbari.
Today the accused was produced in the Siliguri Court. Naxalbari Police has started an investigation into the whole matter.
