Siliguri, 14th November: Cops of Siliguri police station conducted an operation at Airview More based on a tip-off and apprehended a person. During the search, 24 kg of cannabis was recovered from his possession.
Reportedly, the accused had reached Siliguri from Cooch Behar with the cannabis on Sunday. He was apparently on his way to Islampur but was caught by the police before that. The arrested has been identified as Chandan Rajbhar. Police today registered a case under the NDPS Act and presented the accused in the Siliguri court. Police are probing the whole matter
