One arrested in connection with the murder of a taxi driver in Jaigaon

Jaigaon, 28th February: A person has been arrested by the police from the Dalsingpara area in connection with the murder of a taxi driver, yesterday afternoon, at Link Road in Jaigaon. The deceased has been identified as Shankar Kumar Das. Meanwhile, the accused has been identified as Phurba Tamang (30). SDPO LT Bhutia stated that a case under Section 302 had been registered and the accused was presented in the Court. The body has been handed over to the victim’s family after an autopsy.
