Siliguri, 29th August: Based on a tip-off, the NJP police, on Friday night, launched operations at the Ambika Nagar Nichpara area and arrested a man along with a huge cache of local liquor. The arrested accused has been identified as Manoranjan Mahanta.
It has been learned that the accused had been running the trade in the aforementioned area for a long time. He was produced before the Jalpaiguri court on Saturday.
