Siliguri, 19th May: The North Bengal Social Workers Association, on Wednesday, submitted a memorandum to Darjeeling District CMOH Pralay Acharya at the Siliguri sub-divisional council in support of multiple demands.
Demands including proper oxygen supply, increasing the number of hospital beds for patients, provision of vaccines for those working on the frontline were presented through the memorandum.
On behalf of the organization, Gopal Roy said that they have been assured that all issues will be taken seriously. Various voluntary organizations in the city have come together to present these demands.
