“No illegal activities will be tolerated”: MP Raju Bista after administrative meeting in Siliguri

Siliguri, 16th May: Darjeeling MP Raju Bista held an important administrative meeting with officials from various state government departments at the State Guest House in Siliguri on Saturday. MLAs from different Assembly constituencies of the district, the District Magistrate, Sub-Divisional Officers and officials from multiple departments were present at the meeting.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held regarding development works across the district, progress of various government projects and coordination among different departments.

After the meeting, MP Raju Bista issued a strong message stating that no form of illegal activity would be tolerated in the district. He said strict steps had been directed against illegal riverbed excavation, negligence in healthcare services, irregularities in nursing homes and deficiencies in education and other public services.

The MP also warned against the presence of middlemen, syndicate operations and gang activities in the district. He stated that every department must work with transparency and responsibility while giving highest priority to public interest.
