Siliguri, 10th June: The NJP Police, based on a tip-off, launched operations at the Goramore area under NJP police station and arrested two men with a substantial amount of cannabis worth lakhs, on Wednesday.
The arrested accused have been identified as Toton Ahmed, a resident of Shaktigarh and Bapi Mandal, a resident of the Gatebazar area.
Reportedly, 15 kg of cannabis was recovered from their possession that is estimated to be worth lakhs of rupees. The duo was sent to Jalpaiguri court on Thursday.
