NJP police arrest seven with stolen goods

Siliguri, 14th July: The NJP police arrested seven miscreants with a huge quantity of stolen goods. In this regard, DCP East Joy Tudu of Siliguri Metropolitan Police held a press conference on Wednesday.


It has been learned that thefts took place at different places including Fulbari. After 3 complaints were lodged at NJP police station, the police launched investigations and arrested seven miscreants from Sipahipara, Khatalbasty, Fulbari truck terminus, Haripur, and Fulbari Badlaganj. Stolen goods were recovered after questioning the prime accused Deepak Sen. 3 stolen motorcycles, 8 TVs, 4 laptops, 5 gas cylinders, 4 pumps, 1 camera, and several stolen items of a temple were recovered.


According to police sources, there are several complaints against them in the police station. They were sent to Jalpaiguri court today. The police will request a 10-day remand for investigation purposes.
