iliguri, 06th February: NJP police arrested a miscreant with a locally made pistol. The arrested accused has been identified as Babun Sutradhar.
Acting on a tip-off, the police conducted an operation in Jabravita adjacent to NJP and arrested Babun with the firearms. He is said to have various past criminal records. An investigation has been launched into the incident.
