Siliguri, 14th January: The state government has issued strict restrictions to curb the spread of the virus. The administration has directed to take strict action against the ones spotted without masks.
According to the directive, the NJP police of Siliguri Metropolitan Police have been conducting continuous raids but many people are still spotted in the streets without masks.
The NJP police launched another operation on Friday and arrested 24 people without masks. Such operations will continue in the coming days.
