Nikhil Banga Shikshak Samiti protests against Calcutta High Court’s verdict on SSC Recruitment Case in Alipurduar

Alipurduar, 23rd April: Nikhil Banga Shikshak Samiti took to the streets in Alipurduar and staged a protest rally and ‘Patha Sabha’ at Alipurduar College Halt against the Calcutta High Court verdict on Tuesday.


It has to be noted that in the SSC Recruitment Case, the jobs of about 26,000 teachers have been revoked by the Calcutta High Court on Monday.

Reportedly, after the meeting, a memorandum was submitted to the District School Inspector where the protestors appealed that the eligible candidates should not be removed from their position.


In this regard, the District Secretary of the organization, Jayanta Saha stated that TMC leaders involved in the corruption along with the CM should be arrested. Furthermore, he stated that CM Banerjee should take responsibility of the scam.

He added that those who have accepted bribe must be listed and apprehended, while, those entitled to the job based on merit should be reinstated. Additionally, he also demanded the arrest of State Opposition Leader Suvendu Adhikari.
