Siliguri, 05th October: To alleviate the blood crisis, a voluntary blood donation camp was organized on Tuesday under the initiative of the NJP branch of NF Railway Mazdoor Union.
It has been learned that a target has been set to collect 150 units of blood in the camp today. The collected blood will be sent to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital and a private blood bank in Siliguri.
The camp was attended by AGS Paritosh Paul of NF Railway Mazdoor Union, branch secretary of the organization Soumyadeep Karmakar, and advisory committee member Utpal Dutta.
