Siliguri, 02nd July: Aiming to ease road accidents and traffic jams in already congested Siliguri city, a new traffic post was inaugurated in Salbari on Saturday. Police Commissioner Gaurav Sharma inaugurated the new traffic outpost in front of Salbari Krishak Bazar today.
In this regard, the Police Commissioner said that traffic police personnel including an OC will be stationed at the spot, and will keep an eye on the route day and night. The Commissioner further said that many traffic checkpoints have been installed over the last few months in various areas to keep traffic problems under check.
