Siliguri, 27th November: A newborn was found abandoned in a market bag in the forest area of Niranjan Colony, Ward No. 36, under the Siliguri Municipal Corporation.
According to reports, on Wednesday, workers at a construction site in Niranjan Nagar noticed a bag lying by the side of the road near a forest area. Upon opening the bag, they were shocked to find a newborn baby inside. The workers immediately rescued the baby and rushed it to Siliguri District Hospital for medical attention.
The Ashighar police station was notified, and law enforcement officers arrived at the scene promptly. The police have launched an investigation to determine who abandoned the baby and under what circumstances. Authorities are investigating to identify those responsible for this shocking incident.
