Siliguri, 21st October: New garments and food items were handed over to 300 sex workers at the Gate Bazar Yuva Bharati premises on Wednesday under the initiative of District Social Welfare as well as West Bengal Health Organization.
Organization member Suchandra Mitra said that such an initiative has been taken to help them celebrate Durga Puja with as much joy as the rest of the people.
