Siliguri, 09th April: After inspecting North Bengal Medical College-Hospital, the State Expert Committee held a meeting at Uttar Kanya along with the doctors regarding the current scenario of COVID-19.
Addressing the media, committee members Dr. Abhijit Chowdhury and Dr. Gopalakrishna Dhali stated that despite having an up-graded infrastructure, the overall view of NBMCH’s medical facilities is lacking behind from the rest of the country due to geographical reasons. They assured of looking into the matter and providing a settlement soon.
Besides, Dr. Abhijit Chowdhury stated that Dr. Gopalakrishna Dhali will stay in North Bengal for the upcoming few days to look after the situation in NBMCH. He further added of not creating panic and urged everyone to not believe in rumors.
