Siliguri, 19th November: North Bengal Medical College and Hospital achieved a milestone of one lakh COVID vaccines. On Friday, the hospital authorities celebrated the achievement by cutting a cake at Medical College.
Dr Susanta Roy, OSD of North Bengal, Dr Indrajit Saha, Principal of the hospital, Dr Sanjay Mallick, Superintendent of the hospital, Dr Sandip Sengupta, Dean of Community Medicine, Dr Shamistha Bhattacharya, and others were present at the programme.
In this regard, Dr Susanta Roy said that after crossing the margin of one lakh, celebrations were done today. He said that the medical field will be further improved in the coming days.
On the other hand, Dr Shamistha Bhattacharya said that 60,000 first doses and 40,000 second doses have been provided. At present, the vaccine is available by registering in the Co-Win app.
