Naxalbari, 22nd September: Naxalbari’s Shivaji Sangha started Durga Puja preparations through Khamba Puja (pillar worship).
Every year, Shivaji Sangha prepares attractive puja pandals. This year their 50th Puja theme is based on cyclone Aila. In this regard, the president of the club Prithviraj Goel said that puja will be done in compliance with all the COVID measures.
Bidyut Das, the secretary of the club, said that cyclone Aila’s pictures will be painted by the artisans of Navadwip.
