Naxalbari, 03rd August: The members of Shivaji Sangh of Naxalbari started preparations for Durgotsav through Khunti Puja in the club premises on Wednesday. This year, the club will be celebrating their 51st Durgotsav with the theme of ‘Maumachi Desh’.
Puja committee chairman Vidyut Das said that the puja will be inaugurated on the fifth day of Durgotsav. Blood donation camps and cultural programs will be organized. The club is hopeful that their puja will attract the attention of the visitors of not only Naxalbari but also from Kharibari, Bagdogra, Matigara and Siliguri.
