Naxalbari, 5th June: On the occasion of World Environment Day, Naxalbari Sarada Vidya Mandir, on Monday, organized a plantation drive in Nikhil Smriti Maydan of Naxalbari. Under the initiative, several varieties of saplings were planted.
According to reports, the teachers and students of the school participated in the initiative. Speaking at the occasion, the Headmaster of the school, Sujit Das said that, saplings will be planted in Naxalbari, Panitanki, and Batasi. Additionally, he stated that the main objective is to achieve a safe and parthenium-free environment.
