Naxalbari, 13th May: The Naxalbari police arrested a youth for snatching a woman’s bag. The accused has been identified as Jeevan Chowdhury.
It has been learned that the youth fled away after snatching a woman’s bag in the Marapur Tea Garden area near the Naxalbari bus stand on Wednesday. Following which, the woman lodged a complaint at the police station.
Based on the complaint, the police launched investigations and arrested Jeevan within 24-hours of the incident. The stolen bag and other valuables were recovered from his possession.
