Naxalbari, 24th June: Amid the rising drugs trafficking reports, Naxalbari Police arrested a 49-year-old man for drug possession on Wednesday night near the Rathkhola area. The arrested has been identified as Dhurva Chhetri.
According to the information, the police launched an operation based on a tip-off and detained the said person near Rathkhola and searched him. During the search, 7.5 grams of brown sugar was recovered from him. The Naxalbari police immediately initiated an investigation into the matter.
