Naxalbari, 25th November: Naxalbari Lions Club organized a free eye check-up camp at the Naxalbari police station premises, on Thursday. A total of 188 people underwent eye examination at the camp today. Of these, 38 have been identified for cataract testing. Besides, 17 people underwent various medical tests.
Chairman of the programme Jayanta Saha, Narendra Prasad, Prahlad Kumar Biswas, Anil Saha, Shyamal Joardar, Devprasad Bhowmik, Kaushik Archarya, and others were present at the camp.
Kaushik Acharya said that such camps are organized at Naxalbari police station every month on the initiative of Naxalbari Lions Club.
