Siliguri, 10th August: After taking charge as the Cabinet Minister for the Department of North Bengal Development of the Government of West Bengal, Udayan Guha reached Uttar Kanya on Wednesday. Upon his arrival, the minister received a grand welcomed.
While addressing the media, the minister stated that his first goal is to complete all the unfinished works of the North Bengal Development Department as soon as possible. He further added that in the next few days, Rabindra Bhawan will be inaugurated in Cooch Behar. Apart from this, a talk will be held with the administrators of the district to adorn North Bengal with a new look. The minister is said to visit various districts of the region.
