Siliguri, 05th April: A team of SOG of the Siliguri Metropolitan Police and the police of Bagdogra police station conducted a joint operation and arrested a mother-son duo for illegal possession of drugs. The arrested have been identified as Pawan Biswas and Munni Biswas. Both are residents of Biswas Colony of Matigara.
The arrest was made from Bihar More of Bagdogra after the team of officials intercepted a bus coming from Malda. Upon searching the duo, 540 grams of brown sugar were recovered. Both were produced in the Siliguri court today. Police are probing the whole matter
