MLA Sikha Chatterjee planted saplings observing ‘Aranya Saptaha’

Rajganj, 20th July: On the occasion of Aranya Saptaha, Dabgram-Fulbari MLA Sikha Chatterjee participated in a tree plantation program. On Wednesday, the MLA along with the party workers planted saplings on the premises of the Mahananda Barrage Primary School situated in Ward No. 02 Gram Panchayat of Purba Dhantala, Fulbari.


In this regard, MLA Sikha Chatterjee said they planted saplings as they are observing the Aranya Saptaha drive. “We are facing constant environmental changes due to a number of deforestation that is taking place around us. These changes are gravely affecting lives of common people,” she added.


The MLA further cited that the common people should take this week as learning to plant saplings or trees as much as they can.
