Islampur, 14th September: The body of a missing person was recovered from a sewer. The incident surfaced from the Bihar More area under Islampur police station.
As per the report, Swapan Bepari (55) of Ajitbas Colony of Islampur police station area, went missing on Monday night. Later on Tuesday morning, the locals spotted his body lying in a sewer along NH 31 in the Bihar More area.
Islampur police reached the spot after receiving the news. Police recovered the body and sent it to Islampur Sub-Divisional Hospital for autopsy. An investigation has been launched into the incident.
Meanwhile, Swapan Bepari’s family members assumed that he must have been intoxicated at the time and died after falling into the sewer.
