Siliguri, 24th October: NJP police successfully rescued a missing 9-year-old boy named Ashish Mandal from Malda and handed him over to his family.
It has been learned that the locals sighted the minor boy roaming around in the NJP station premises on Friday evening. After talking to him, they learned that he is a resident of Malda. Following which, the NJP police were informed. The police rescued him shortly after and took him to the police station.
Upon receiving the news, the family members of Ashish arrived at NJP police station today and took their son back home.
