Siliguri, 21st September: Sensation prevailed following the incident of theft in a mobile store in the Jagannathpur area of Bidhannagar under Phansideva block. In the incidents, miscreants broke the shutter of the store and made way with phones worth lakhs.
As per the store owner, ten mobile phones kept inside the shop were missing along with several other items. He added that total goods worth around one and a half lakh rupees were stolen.
Following the incident, the owner of the shop filed a complaint at the police station. At present, the police are engaged in investigating the entire matter.
