Based on reported cases, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has classified districts as Hotspots, Non-Hotspots districts reporting cases and districts which have not reported positive cases.
Under the list of hotspot districts with large outbreaks of Annexure-II, Kolkata, Howrah, Medinipur East and 24 Paraganas North of West Bengal has been entered.
None of the districts of West Bengal has been entered under the list of hotspot districts with clusters of Annexure III.
Kalimpong, Jalpaiguri, Hooghly, Nadia, Paschim Bardhaman, Medinipur West, 24 Paraganas South and Darjeeling have been recorded under the Non-Hotspots Districts reporting cases Annexure-IV.
